5.0 out of 5 stars Wave Goodbye to Worries7 Mar 2012
This review is from: The 15 Minute Rule: How to stop procrastinating and take charge of your life (Paperback)
Love this book! It is quite true that you can face almost anything - for 15 minutes, and after that no task seems nearly as difficult. Caroline explains how to cope in easy-to-digest chunks, with wide-ranging case studies and lots of humour. Being a compulsive worrier, the Ace Card section appealed to me - I was enchanted by the analogy of my current panic boarding a train, doors closing on it and me watching it depart the station - never to be seen again!

Well done Caroline, what a clever idea and yet so simple. I bought this book two weeks ago but haven't managed to finish it as my friends keep borrowing it! Advising they buy their own copies.
All the annoying yet necessary things that have to be done are now getting done in my house thanks to The 15 Minute Rule, it really does work. Thank you Caroline.

15-Minute Rule book reviews!

Have just pasted these reviews from Amazon. I'm one happy bunny!

This review is from: The 15 Minute Rule: How to stop procrastinating and take charge of your life (Paperback)
This is a great book, until I read it I would not have believed how something which seems such a simple concept could help so much with time management. I now think of things in 15 minute segments, don't get distracted or overwhelmed. Marvellous - I seem to have much more time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Changed my whole outlook!26 Feb 2012
This review is from: The 15 Minute Rule: How to stop procrastinating and take charge of your life (Paperback)
I'm not really one for "self-help" books as a genre, but this one is bite sized (practising what it preaches!), delivering common sense advice and relatable insight. I can't recommend it enough. I'm definitely a bit of a procrastinator, tending to focus all my efforts on one area of my life and this book totally changed my whole outlook, allowing me to achieve more of a balance and actually get things done!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fab book-A Must Read for all!6 Mar 2012
This review is from: The 15 Minute Rule: How to stop procrastinating and take charge of your life (Paperback)
An ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC read and a fantasic concept. We all have things in our lives we dread doing, but following this idea makes those tasks so much more bearable and far less daunting. This book has changed my approach to life, especially those things I find difficult to start. Using the 15 minute rule and philosophy ensured I got my tax return in on time and my bathroom clean! Buy this book if productivity and a sense of achievement is what you are after! Well Done Caroline, an amazing book

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read!5 Mar 2012

This book really changed my way of thinking. I always used to say to myself, 'I'll do so-and-so when I've got a spare day,' whether it was clearing out a cupboard or doing the admin. I've got two young children and, I've discovered, that day spare day never comes! Now, after reading the book, I just do fifteen minutes when the baby's asleep or while I'm waiting for the pasta to boil - and actually I've cleared out a good few cupboards, got on top of the admin, and am deciding what to do next. It's a winning rule and a winning book - I'd recommend it to anyone, especially busy mums!

5.0 out of 5 stars The 15 Minute Rule5 Mar 2012
This review is from: The 15 Minute Rule: How to stop procrastinating and take charge of your life (Paperback)
Wow, this book really does what it says on the tin! Well, it certainly helped me take control of my life.
The thought of taking on all those tasks I'd shelved - from tax returns to filling in forms, exercising to losing weight, clearing out cupboards to kick starting a new hobby - seemed overwhelming until I read its simple but effective advice.
Starting these jobs in 15-minute spurts has made me conquer the fear to do it all anyway. Brilliant!

REACHED NUMBER 1 IN RICHMOND!

‎'The 15-Minute Rule - how to stop procrastinating and take control of your life' is still doing very well in

my local Waterstones in Richmond. It is now Number One bestseller in their self-help section. I’m ahead

of Dale Carnegie and Paul McKenna! In the Health and Wellbeing section, which is much larger, it’s

Number Two, only a few books behind the Number One ‘French Children Don’t Throw Food’ which

has had massive publicity. Richmond says they can't get enough of my book! I’ve sold more than the

Dukan Diet in their store!

So wish it were in many more bookshops - when people see it they want it. It's so frustrating it's not everywhere.
I believe in this book so passionately!

Two more reviews for The 15-Minute Rule

'Best book I've ever read on overcoming problems. Caroline has a lovely style and tone. The 15-Minute Rule deserves its success.'
Janet, Eastbourne.

'A compelling book! A real page turner.'
Simon, Sunbury.

A fab experience with The 15-Minute Rule!

More exciting news! Went into Waterstones again today and they said they can't get enough of my book! My darling friend Maddy and I were looking around at any competition for a book we're doing together when all of a sudden we spotted a real live person pouring over The 15-Minute Rule! We were so thrilled!!!!! I then tapped her on the shoulder and told her I wrote it!  She said she really needed it, bought it - and then I signed it. What fun!
